Chemène de Heus

A character designer, illustrator and visual development artist based in the Netherlands, with an innate passion for storytelling and animation. 

I have developed diverse skills having worked in Feature, TV and on children’s books. My biggest strengths lie within character design and illustration where I’m constantly in pursuit of developing those strengths, personal growth and gain new knowledge and experiences.

I therefore seek creative and inspiring work where I can demonstrate and push my skills even further.

I've been in love with animation and illustration for as long as I can remember. It started with a fascination for the early animation movies, continued into studying animation and illustration at St. Joost School of Art&Design and has grown to now working in the industry with an indescribable passion. I cannot wait to continue this journey and hope you'll follow along!
